Our Arctic grade festoon harnesses are all supplied with silicon rubber seals packed in a plastic bag. When using the festoon outdoors it is essential that these seals are fitted. They simply attach over the outer section of the lamp holder. When fitting the lamp, fold back the rubber sleeve, fit the lamp and allow the seal to flip back so that it seals against the globe of the lamp.
It is also recommended that the lamps hang in a downwards direction.
